When we are talking with people about being part of our team, we can deal with a yes or a no. When they say yes we are excited and do what we need to do so they can get started and make some money. When they say no well at least they made a decision and we can move on. But this week on our show we talked about the one answer every team member dreads. That answer is maybe. Maybe Ill get started , I'm just not sure yet, I'm thinking about it. We hear it in many forms . You have heard it said we like the yes, we can handle the nos, but its the maybes that kill us. Everyone vs Someone

One of my favorite sports teams signed a player recently with a resume to die for. They are definitely a all star. So you may be asking whats the problem? Well the question is do they fit in with the team dynamic. Yea this player may help the team from time to time .But is there presence more of a hindrance to the team then a help. In the MLM/ affiliate world (yet its true in the brick and mortar world to)I think many teams do harm to themselves by adapting a everyone mentality. Instead of looking for those someones that fit with there plan. We all want that all star player on our team. But keep in mind will this person Add to our team or take away. Know the type people you want to work with on your team be picky in a sense. In the long run passing on that "all star" who might help your team in the short term but harm in the end. Could be the best Team decision you ever make and over the Long haul your team will be more successful.

Leads Follow Up and Creditability

The them on our radio show http://www.teamworkradio.com the past few weeks has been Leads Leads and more http://orangeleads.com/testimonials.php?id=20940 Leads . Leads are the life blood for your team and they need to be handled correctly. Follow up is the key. If your team is not following up you can be confident your teams productivity will go down. Create cred ability partners in your team. Better yet have a network of creditability partners on your team. These are people your team can 3 way into to speak with a prospect (lead) and provide creditability both for the rep. (your team member) and the company. If your team follows up and uses creditability partners correctly your team will see growth.

The Next.......

If your a sports fan like I am you hear this line all the time. Hes the Next (Babe Ruth, Cy Young.)...... It happens in business to your trying to be the next.... or your team is the next....
Well Seth Godin said in his Blog recently " Don't try to be the 'next'. Instead, try to be the other, the changer, the new. " I would add be the you, let your team have its own identity. Be the original. Can you learn from mentors ? Absolutely yes. But take what you learn and make it yours Bottom Line stop trying to be the Next..... Learn from others then Be has Seth said " the other, the changer, the New " Be you, people are looking for Real
