Social Media Rules of Engagement

Social Media is definitely not a fad Social Networks is the number one online activity and is growing rather rapidly.All of us probably have a Facebook or Twitter account or both and many belong to a group of other social networks. Brian Solis wrote a article in the August 2010 edition of FeedFront magazine entitled Social Media's Rules of Engagement. Brian gives the reader 21 Rules of engagement. When it comes to your teams presents on these social media networks I want to draw your attention to one of those rules. Brian states Don't get lost in translation. Ensure your communication and intent is clear and that your involvement maps to business objectives. In other words keep your message clear and know your objective before you post. Give us your thoughts and opinions on the topic we want to hear from you.
